    This workshop is suitable for Health care professionals and yoga teachers wishing to understand more about the pelvic floor anatomy and health and how to offer patient/student support using yoga. First, we will look at the pelvic floor anatomy and discuss medical indications. Followed by a yoga asana practice designed to help you connect more easily with the anatomy of your lower pelvis and offer simple yogasana exercises.

    This is an evidence-informed workshop for clinicians. We will look at the definition, diagnosis, clinical presentation, symptom profile, followed by an informed series of yoga postures.
    Suitable for manual therapists, exercise therapists, PTs. Lay people with scoliosis will also benefit.

    Dress for yoga
    Have a yoga mat, two blocks, two blankets, a yoga belt, and a folding chair. Improvise with household items

    Repeatedly exploiting the areas of greatest movement has a cost. In this workshop, we will explore new areas of movement and practice "tapas" restraint in the "easy" areas.
